Establishing Boundaries

When establishing boundaries it is important to tune into your feelings and decipher what it is you truly want and don’t want.
The “figuring it out” part is a process that will take more than an hour or even a day. Give yourself plenty of time and start out with issues you’ve had in relationships before that you feel strongly about. Boundaries aren’t rigid walls, but rather mend-able fences that you can change when your discomforts do.
Once you’ve figured what your limits are be direct with yourself and others on where the lines are that you don’t want to be crossed.
